When I first got pregnant, I said, I’m NOT buying maternity clothes! Then I started showing at 14 weeks.
In my humble opinion, most maternity clothes focus more on comfort and less on fashion (translation: not cute). And, while I understand the need to be comfortable as your body grows and does bizarre things, I also want to look and feel cute! On my rough days, you know the ones… 2 hours of sleep, bloating, nausea, rage … I throw on a cute sundress that shows off my bump and while I’m not totally prepared for social interaction, I usually do feel better.
For the most part, I have continued to shop at my favorite stores and just go up a size… or two. But, one of my favorite purchases has been this amazing maternity essentials pack from ASOS, that just so happens to be the cute basics you build almost all your outfits around, and all the pieces are really comfortable!

It comes with a pair of over-the-bump leggings, a t-shirt bodycon dress, an over-the-bump skirt, and a full-coverage tank. Unfortunately, I’m not the only one who discovered this essentials pack and it’s currently sold out. But, the good news is that ASOS usually restocks pretty quick, and in the meantime, I have individually identified these must-haves!
May your days be cute + comfortable!

Cuuuuuuuuuuuuuute, yet helpful!
You look beautiful! I’m sizing up too! I love some of Asos Maternity stuffi. So far i haven’t had to buy any maternity clothes thanks to Ross and Five Below! lol, can’t beat a $5 dollar dress and a $9 romper! I’ll be 7 months next weeks.
This post is heaven sent. I just found out we’re expecting number 3. I’d already gotten rid of all my maternity gear and am not keen on restocking. This is the first time I’ll have to go through a summer pregnancy so all of these recent ‘dress the bump’ posts are awesome! Thank you!
I love this! Where is your black backpack from?
Hi! I’m 13 weeks and am currently stalking all of your fashion tips. ❤️ What size did you get in the maternity pack? Did you pick your normal size since it’s maternity or did you size up?
I went up a size so it would last my whole pregnancy + it did!
