Healing Crystals for Pregnancy, Miscarriage & an Open Heart

When I was home in December, I saw a psychic and she spoke mostly of a career change that was coming, but she briefly spoke on kids too. She suggested I start using crystals to promote pregnancy, but at the time, I just wasn’t open to being pregnant again. Now, I am wide open! We are trying to get pregnant and I am enlisting all the support I can, including crystals.

There are endless combinations of crystals that you could use, for any physical, emotional, or spiritual purpose, and so I chose 9 crystals that spoke to me and my journey. I was looking for crystals that not only protected me from another miscarriage, but also promoted love in my relationship, healed old hurt & heartache, curbed fear, helped relieve emotional stress & baggage, and promoted healthy pregnancy. I found this and so much more!

Rose Quartz is the center stone of my force field and I also wear a rose quartz necklace, where the stone hits directly over my heart chakra. It is the crystal of peace and unconditional love. Rose Quartz calms us, opens our heart, and brings deep healing and self love.

It is perfect stone for those who have experienced trauma, as it brings emotional balance, security, and peace. I would have chosen the rose quartz based on these healing properties alone and they are why I wear it daily, but I also chose it because it can be used as a protective gemstone during childbirth and pregnancy, particularly from miscarriage. Rose quartz also allows you to deeply connect with yourself, your baby, and the universe, which is why it is my center stone.

I didn’t choose my Amethyst or Aquamarine, they chose me. And as I understand it, that’s how goes it, in the crystal world! You are looking for some stones, while other stones are looking for you. After doing some research on these crystals, it became clear why I needed these stones in my force field.

Amethyst is believed to offer divine connection. It also provides protection and stability, while releasing tension and relieving physical and emotional pain. Which makes it the perfect stone to help me put down some of the baggage from my previous miscarriages.

Aquamarine is useful for moving through transition and change. It’s cleansing energy removes resistance and helps one overcome fear of the unknown. Like Amethyst, Aquamarine also helps release emotional baggage. It is also believe to protect against negativity and harm to mother & baby.

I chose Moonstone because it has powerful affects over the female reproductive system. It enhances fertility, promotes ease in pregnancy, and balances hormones. During childbirth, it helps to relieve fear.

Moonstone is also the stone of self-discovery and deep insight. It promotes harmony in relationships and soothes emotions.

Lepidolite is known to be one of the great healing stones. It balances energy surrounding emotional issues, as well as decreases stress, anxiety, depression, and panic attacks. Since I struggle with anxiety, in general, I often meditate on my Lepidolite alone or sleep with it under my pillow.

Unakite helps two become three! It also promotes a healthy pregnancy and helps regulate the heart chakra as we have strong reactions to external stimuli. As an empath, this is very important to me. I’m really working to minimize my interactions with stressful people and situations, so that my mental and emotional health is in the best shape possible for this pregnancy!

Garnet is a protection stone and is recommended for discouraging miscarriages. It can also be used for manifestation! It brings abundance, prosperity, and the realization of dreams.

Bloodstone promotes healing and strength, revitalizing the body and mind when they are exhausted. It’s believed to prevent miscarriage and is used during childbirth to ease labor pain.

Carnelian protects the wearer from negative emotions while restoring motivation, energy, courage, and self-esteem. It helps women to work through fears concerning pregnancy and childbirth.

Once you have chosen your crystals, you will need to cleanse & dedicate them. I use running water to cleanse mine and I charge them by sunlight and moonlight, for 24 hours. Since crystals absorb energy from physical touch and surroundings, I cleanse and charge mine with every full moon, if someone touches them, or if my environment changes. For example, I took my crystals to Italy with me and then cleansed and recharged them with the full moon, once I was back at home.

If you are looking for more information on crystals that will move you through your miscarriage and the journey to try again, I found this site* that sells thoughtful jewelry to have the most comprehensive list of crystals specifically for us. I also wish that I had found this site after I miscarried, because I was looking for something physical to serve as a reminder that I was a mother, that my pregnancy happened, and although my child didn’t survive, I did. A healing trinket would have been ideal.

If you are intrigued in crystals, in general, and have decided that now is a good time for you to explore, great! I found MindBodyGreen and Hibiscus Moon to have the best information to get you started. You can find crystals at your local metaphysical store and I got mine at Cosmic Connections, here in Nashville. If you don’t have a metaphysical store nearby, you can order online, however most suggest touching the crystals to find the one that best suits you.

Be warned, crystals are as addictive as they are beautiful!

*I am not promoting InJewels and I do not benefit in any way from mentioning their brand, site, or products.
